All pieces are created entirely out of hand-cut paper.
I begin with an idea of the movement that I want to convey and begin with a scribble.
With time, the drawing begins to take shape. I use an eraser and pencil to sculpt my image.
I draw with the intention of creating a fully resolved plan that I can cut.

I cut away all the negative space, leaving only the graphite behind.
I always draw and cut in reverse so so that the graphite lines are not visible.
The lace is then used as a frame to which I glue the small colored paper.
